Ia mendapatkan gelar MBA with high distinction dari Sekolah Bisnis dan Manajemen ITB, Master Sistem Informasi dari Informatika ITB serta Sarjana Teknik Komputer dari Elektro ITB. Rahmat merupakan profesional pertama di Indonesia yang mendapatkan sertifikasi CISA-CISM-CGEIT-CRISC dari ISACA di tahun 2011. Selain itu juga memegang sertifikasi PMP dari PMI serta ITIL-F dari ISEB-BCS.
Rahmat memiliki pengalaman profesional lebih dari 14 tahun. Ia berpengalaman dalam melaksanakan IT Audit & Assurance serta memberikan konsultasi di bidang IT Governance & Management, Strategic dan IT Planning & Architecting, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery serta Supervisi Implementasi TI.
Ia pernah merintis dan mengelola IT Service Center ITB (ComLabs) pada tahun 2000-2007 lalu bersama tim mendirikan dan mengelola PT. Transforma. Selain itu ia juga merupakan dosen professional dan fasilitator berbagai lembaga edukasi dan merupakan member aktif asosiasi profesi seperti ISACA, PMI, IIA, IASA dan AIS, anggota working group penyusunan SNI ISO Tata Kelola dan Layanan TI serta reviewer penyusunan SKKNI EA.
Selain itu saat ini ia volunteering sebagai Government & Regulatory Advocacy SC1 ISACA International, Vice President ISACA Chapter Indonesia dan Branch Director di PMI Indonesia Chapter. Sedangkan sebelumnya pernah menjabat sebagai Relations Director di ISACA Indonesia (2014).

Rahmat is the first professional in Indonesia to get CISA-CGEIT-CRISC certification from ISACA in 2011. It also holds PMP certification from PMI and ITIL-F from ISEB-BCS.
Rahmat has more than 14 years professional experience. He is experienced in implementing IT Audit & Assurance as well as providing consultancy in IT Governance & Management, Strategic and IT Planning & Architecture, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery and IT Implementation Supervision.
He had pioneered and managed IT Service Center ITB (ComLabs) in the year 2000-2007 and together with the team to establish and manage PT. Transforma. In addition, he is also a professional lecturer and facilitator of various educational institutions and is an active member of professional associations such as ISACA, PMI, IIA, IASA and AIS, working group members of ISO Preparation of IT Governance and Services as well as reviewer of SKKNI EA preparation.
In addition he is currently volunteering as Government & Regulatory Advocacy SC1 ISACA International, ISACA Chapter Indonesia Vice President and Branch Director at PMI Indonesia Chapter. While previously served as a Relations Director at ISACA Indonesia (2014).
